What We Believe

The following are the core beliefs of Grace Chapel, a Foursquare church, based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. These beliefs guide our faith, shape our ministry, and influence how we live out our relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is true, trustworthy, powerful, and unchanging (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

The Eternal Godhead

We believe in one God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 13:14).

The Fall of Man

We believe humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin through disobedience (Romans 5:12).

The Plan of Salvation

We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins and that all who place their faith in Him are saved from condemnation and given eternal life (John 3:16; Romans 5:8).

Salvation Through Grace

We believe that salvation is a gift of God's grace and cannot be earned through our own efforts or righteousness (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Repentance and Acceptance

We believe that through sincere repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, we are forgiven and restored to relationship with God (1 John 1:9).

Daily Christian Living

We believe God calls believers to continual spiritual growth, becoming more like Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit (Hebrews 6:1).

Baptism and the Lord's Supper

We believe water baptism by immersion is a public declaration of faith and an outward expression of an inward transformation (Matthew 28:19). We also observe the Lord's Supper as a remembrance of Christ's sacrifice for us (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

Baptism with the Holy Spirit

We believe the baptism with the Holy Spirit empowers believers for Christian life and ministry just as in the days of the early church (Acts 2:4).

The Gifts and Fruit of the Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to believers and produces spiritual fruit that reflects the character of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:1-11; Galatians 5:22-23).

Church Relationship

We believe every believer is called to be part of the body of Christ and to actively participate in the life of a local church community (Acts 16:5; Hebrews 10:24-25).

The Second Coming of Christ

We believe Jesus Christ will personally return and that His coming is imminent (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

The Final Judgment

We believe that all people will stand before God and receive either eternal life or eternal separation based on their response to Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10).

Part of the Foursquare Family

Grace Chapel is part of the Foursquare Church, a global movement of Spirit-empowered churches committed to sharing the hope of Jesus Christ around the world.
